My name is Mrs. Thatcher and this is my 7th year with ACERO and my first year at Cruz! I love teaching 6th grade reading, writing and social studies. I grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago in the Skokie/Evanston area. Middle school is by far my favorite age group of students to teach. I obtained my bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University in 2012 and have been teaching ever since.
In my spare time I love to play with my son Ben. I also love running, reading, and watching Chicago and Ohio State sports with my husband Sam. :)
