Theatre 1 introduces students to the elements and disciplines of the theatre arts while helping them gather tools for self-expression and connection.  Students will create their own performances and designs, perform in groups, respond to productions, and connect through their shared experiences.  In this class students will learn introductory acting and design techniques. Theatre 1 encourages students to share their story through theatre by introducing them to tools that will help them gain confidence, develop connections with their peers, and begin to develop their own artistic point of view.
