Art History I/Curation

Course Description

This class is our deepest, most immersive offering for our oldest art students. They learn a trajectory of art history while simultaneously learning new techniques and applying them to the process of production for their own art and art exhibits. Students will be able to write their own gallery level art labels, learn how to curate a show and all the back end logistical work that goes into putting on a professional art exhibit.
In this class students will also have visits from college representatives from schools and art schools and professionally put a portfolio together.
